As female Ethiopian students grow older, opportunities for education decrease, especially in poor, rural areas. While Adams Thermal Academies enroll only the "poorest of the poor", one of the barriers that can keep young girls out of the classroom is feminine hygiene and overall menstrual health. US Senator John Thune Visits Adams Thermal
The August recess is an opportunity for members of congress to come home and visit constituents. This week was no exception for John Thune, one of South Dakota's two US Senators.
